Digimon Adventure 15th Anniversary Anime Project's First Story Info Revealed

The official Digimon Adventure 15th anniversary project website's counter reached zero, revealing more details about the upcoming anime.

The site revealed a silhouette of a 17-year-old Taichi "Tai" Yagami and his partner Digimon, Agumon. The website also revealed the story information in Japanese and English:

When the wave below the pier begin to sway with the morning sunlight...

"bang"
A swift motion stops the alarm.
Kicking off the twisted bed sheets, he stretches his arms and legs

The sunlight peeks in from the curtains, hitting his desk spotlighting on

"have a good day"
Hearing a voice sending him off from behind, he hurriedly heads out the door.

New Digimon Adventure Sequel Anime: Older Hikari Yagami Teased

The December issue of V-Jump magazine revealed the newest silhouette shot for next year's Digimon Adventure anime sequel.

The silhouette features Taichi "Tai" Yagami and his younger sister, Hikari "Kari" Yagami. The last time we saw Hikari was in the Digimon 02 anime. More details about the new anime will be revealed in the magazine's next issue.

Digimon Adventure 15th Anniversary Project Silhouette Features All DigiDestined Kids

The official Digimon Adventure 15th anniversary anime project website has unveiled a new silhouette for the upcoming anime, which features the 8 DigiDestined of the first season.

Based on their appearance in the Digimon Zero Two anime, the silhouetted DigiDestined from left to right are: Joe, Takeru (TK), Hikari (Kari), Taichi (Tai), Yamato (Matt), Sora, Koushiro (Izzy), and Mimi.

The website also hinted that a third egg will be on the website at a later time. These eggs will contain information related to the upcoming anime project. To hatch the egg, you need to click the egg once a day or participate in various games in the site.

The Digimon Adventure 15th Anniversary Anime Project is set to premiere next year.

Digimon Adventure tri Anime's Key Visual, Staff Revealed

The previously unnamed Digimon 15th Anniversary Project now has a name! The new Digimon series is entitled "Digimon Adventure tri" and will feature Taichi and friends in high school.

As seen in the key visual, Taichi, Yamato, Sora, Koushiro, and Mimi are in high school while Takeru and Hikari are likely in middle school based on their uniforms. It is likely that Joe is in college based on his outfit.

Keitaro Motonaga (Rayearth) will direct the anime, with Yuuko Kakihara (Heaven's Lost Property) in-charge with the scrips, and Atsuya Uki (Cencoroll) doing the character designs. Digimon Adventure tri premieres next year.

DigimonStory Cybersleuth PS Vita Game Cast, Release Date Revealed
The February 2015 issue of V-Jump magazine has unveiled the cast and the release date of the DigimonStory Cybersleuth game for the PS Vita. The game is set for a March 12, 2015 release in Japan.

The cast of the upcoming game are as follows:

The game is about a strange phenomena that the protagonist must investigate as a "Cybersleuth" along with his or her partner Digimon and his or her human allies, Arata Sanada and Nokia Shiromine. Can you find out the truth behind this mystery?

The game is developed by Media Vision with Masafumi Takada (Danganronpa) composing the music. Manga creator Suzuhita Yasuda (Durarara!!) returns for the game's character designs with manga creator Oh! great (Air Gear) doing the monster designs.

Lastly, there is still no news if the game will get a Western release.

Two Digimon Re:Digitize Characters to Appear in DigimonStory Cybersleuth Game

The March issue of this year's V-Jump magazine revealed that two characters from the Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode game will appear in the upcoming DigimonStory Cybersleuth game for the PS Vita.

These characters are Mirei Mikagura (voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro) and Rina Shinomiya (voiced by Haruka Tomatsu). Along with their partner Digimon, namely Mastimon and V-Mon respectively, they will serve as allies to the game's protagonist who will save him/her in his/her time of need.

Lastly, the game will also collaborate with media store Tower Records thanks to a character named Reiko Tawa (voiced by Ayana Taketatsu). This guest character will appear in some quest involving Enamon who has hijacked the store, and solve the mystery on why he did it.
