Ayumi Kinoshita, Kenji Ebisawa Confirmed in Juuden Sentai Kyoryuger


It has been reported that former Super Sentai actors Ayumi Kinoshita (Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger) and Kenji Ebisawa (Engine Sentai Go-Onger) will be included in the cast of 37th Super Sentai series, Juuden Sentai Kyoryuger.

Kinoshita will be playing as Nobuharu Udo / KyoryuBlue's younger sister, while Ebisawa will be Ian Yorkland / KyoryuBlack's friend in Europe. It was previously revealed that Nao Nagasawa will be in the show, playing an unconfirmed role.

Directed by Koichi Sakamoto (Kamen Rider Fourze) and written by Riku Sanjo (Kamen Rider W), Juuden Sentai Kyoryuger premieres February 17th.

Juuden Sentai Kyoryuger Villains Unveiled, More Cast Revealed

Today, January 26th, TOEI and TV-Asahi held a press conference for the upcoming release of the 37th Super Sentai series, Juuden Sentai Kyoryuger. With that, more information had been revealed, including the villains and additional cast.

Similar to what was rumored a few days ago, the villains will be called the Devoss Army (Devoss Gun), lead by Chaos, the 100-Face Priest (Hyakumen Shinkan Chaos, center). Under him are Dogold, War Knight of Anger (Ikari no SenKi Dogorudo, 2nd to the left), Candelilla, the War Knight of Joy (Yorokobi no SenKi Kyandira, 2nd to the right), Aigaron, the War Knight of Sadness (Kanashimi no SenKi Aigaron, leftmost), and Luckyuuro, the War Knight of Fun (Tanoshimi no SenKi Rakkyuuro, rightmost).

Each of them can create a DevoMonster, this year's monster of the week. Villain combatants will be called Zouri Demons (Zouri Ma), which also have a giant form called Giant Zori Demons (Kyodai Zori Ma).

Meanwhile, Torin, the Wise God (Kenshin Torin) will be the Kyoryuger’s mentor, and their headquarters will be called Spirit Base.

Furthermore, apart from Nao Nagasawa, Ayumi Kinoshita and Kenji Ebisawa, additional cast includes Junichi Haruta (Goggle V, Dynaman) as Soji, KyoryuGreen's father; Kentaro Shimazu (Machine Girl, RoboGeisha) as KyoryuPink's butler, Gentle; Shinji Yamashita (RESCUE) as Dantestsu Kiryu, KyoryuRed's father; and Toshiyuki Morikawa (Gundam X, Super Robot Wars) as the voice of Torin.

The official TOEI page for the 37th Super Sentai series, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger had updated with the series' story and premise. The story starts from the age of the dinosaurs and fast forward to the present times.

Strong (Kyou) ・ Dragon (Ryu) ・ Person (Sha)
These warriors are known as the "People of the Strong Dragon".

In Ancient Times, the Darkness Species Devoss (Ankokushuu Debos) landed upon the Earth. Those who fought against it at the time were none other than the Dinosaurs.

The Wise God, Torin chose 10 Dinosaurs, and placed their souls within mechanical bodies, making them into "ZyuDenRyu." They fiercely fought back against Devoss, which ended up having his soul frozen. It sank into the sea; immersed in ice.

Now we shift to the present age... In order to carry out the revival of Master Devoss (Shukun Devoss), his subordinates began their plans — inhaling the souls of men, and offering them up to Devoss. Once more, the sky is covered with ominous clouds, and ice age began, and the time of civilization's extinction is at hand!

As a counter measure, Torin searches for present day champions, humans, who are able to fight against the ZyuDenRyu, and unite their souls. These people will be known as the "People of the Strong Dragon" (Kyoukiryu no Sha). Kyoryuger for short.

The press conference of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger revealed a couple of things about our heroes coming from the cast members! Here's what the cast said about their characters.

-Nobuharu's (Blue) sister and niece are both unaware of his status as KyoryuBlue.
-Daigo's (Red) outstanding personality trait is his ability to be brave in the face of danger, often pulling the others together.
-Amy's (Pink) character speaks a lot of English phrases and tends to dress in western clothes.
-Ian's (Black) playboy attitude is a shroud he wears to mask the pain he feels from having lost people close to him in the initial attacks.

Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Villains Update

The voices and the descriptions for the members of the Devoss Army is finally revealed! These villains will appear in Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger and our heroes must stop them with their plans to revive their leader.

100-Face Priest Chaos will be voiced by Takayuki Sugo (Bleach's Zangetsu, Naruto's Frist Hokage)

War Knight of Anger Dogold will be voiced by Satoshi Tsuruoka (Fate/Zero's Caster). He is a general who is always angry and gets a thrill out of destruction.

War Knight of Joy Candelilla will be voiced by Haruka Tomatsu (Sword Art Online's Asuna). She is a happy-go-lucky general who steals emotions from humans.

War Knight of Sadness Aigarion will be voiced by Hiroshi Mizushima (Juuken Sentai Gekiranger's Elehung Kambo). He is a crybaby general who has fierce tactics.

War Knight of Fun Luckyuuro will be voiced by Ai Orikasa (Tenchi series' Ryoko). She loves life and is in charge of making the Devo Monsters giant.

If Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters episodes were called "Mission", it has been revealed that the episodes for the 37th Super Sentai series, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger will be called "Brave".

Brave 2: Gaburincho! Biting Combination

Additionally, the suit actors for Kyoryuger are Yoshifumi Oshikawa (Red Buster) as KyoryuRed, Yasuhiro Takeuchi (Blue Buster) as KyoryuBlack, Masashi Takada (GokaiBlue) as KyoryuBlue, Kousuke Asai (Cheeda Nick) as KyoryuGreen, and Mizuho Nogawa (GokaiPink) as KyoryuPink.

The Devoss Army is now on the move to revive their master, which Torin and the ZyuDenChi sealed during the ancient times. Now, the safety of the Earth relies in the hand of the five champions. The magnificent Kyoryuger's Brave Battle has just begun!

RUMORS: New Kyoryuger Toy Listings, More KyoryuGold

Someone who claimed to saw the new toy listings for the 37th Super Sentai series, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, had listed what we supposed to expect in the show's second quarter.

Please take these rumors with a grain of salt!

Similar to what is rumored before, this year's sixth warrior is KyoryuGold. He's transformation device will be called GaburiChanger, and personal weapon will be the Zander Thunder. He will also have his version of the Mobuckle, the ZyuDen Mobuckle Kyoryu Gold ver. All due in May 2013.

His mecha is the 6th Zyudenryu, Pteragodon, that will transform (Kaminari Henkei, Electric Transformation) into PteRaidenOh (due in April). In addition, a new Zyudenryu will also debut by June, Zyudenchi #8 Bunpachy. Fang Shot set and Shieldraun Slasher set will be released in April as well.

Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Individual Weapons Named

A toy listing for Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger had revealed the names of the individual weapons to be featured in the 37th Super Sentai series. The DX versions are slated to be released in April.

The weapons are as follows: GabuTyra Fang (Red), ParaShot (Black), StegoShield (Blue), ZactorSlasher (Green), and DriceraLance (Pink). The first two made up the DX FangShot Set, while the remaining three forms the ShieldLanSlasher Set. Weapons can also combine to form the KentroSpiker, a giant sword to be used as a finisher.

The Devoss Army is now on the move to revive their master, which Torin and the ZyuDenChi sealed during the ancient times. Now, the safety of the Earth relies in the hand of the five champions. The magnificent Kyoryuger's Brave Battle has just begun!

Das is Jacke wie Hose. Das Wort beast wird Jyu geschrieben aber es kann auch Zyu geschrieben werden. Wenn ich mich nich ganz irre hat das dann nochmal ne etwas andre Bedeutung.

Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Second Mecha Revealed: Pteraiden-Oh

Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger still got two more weeks till it airs but the second mecha robo for the 37th Super Sentai series had been revealed! This was first rumored but later confirmed by a Japanese toy retailer.

The 6th Zyudenryu, Pteragodon, that will transform (Kaminari Henkei, Thunder Transformation) into Pteraiden-Oh (due in April). It can combine with Parasagun and Zactor to form Pteraiden-Oh Western, and to Kyoryuzin to form RaidenKyoryuzin.

In addition, a new Zyudenryu will also debut by June, Zyudenchi #8 Bunpachy, which can attach (?) to Kyoryuzin to give it a metal ball-like weapon, similar to Kamen Rider Fourze's Chain Array. So far, there's still no images yet for this year's sixth warrior, KyoryuGold.

Kyoryuger Head Writer Riku Sanjou Wanted KyoryuBlue to Be a Father

In an interview, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger head writer Riku Sanjou revealed his original plan for the team's oldest hero, Nobuharu Udo aka KyoryuBlue.

I actually wanted Blue to be a 45 year old man with wife and kids. But everyone was against it. It's tough having kids, so I really wanted an older character that the parents could relate too.


In the actual series, KyoryuBlue has a younger sister (played by Ayumi Kinoshita) who is a single mother. Do you guys like the idea of having yet another family man for a hero?
