Power Rangers Megaforce

Week 1 of the filming of Power Rangers Megaforce is now over and AAC-Stunt's Namihei Koshige posted a blog entry about the first week of filming. In addition, here are some more updates coming from Elie Dekel and Ciara Hanna about the series.

Mr. Koshige compared Samurai with Shinkenger since Samurai borrowed a lot of elements coming from its counterpart. Because of this, they need to shoot minimal amount of original footage. He then compares Megaforce with Goseiger in which he said that the story for Megaforce is almost original that they need to film a lot of original footage.

In an event called MIPCOM, Saban Brand's Elie Dekel described Power Rangers Megaforce as "the most expensive, elaborate, and over the top." The season was designed for new fans as well as the "Ranger Nation", which sounds like the older fans.

Lastly, Ciara Hanna, the actress who plays Gia, the Yellow Ranger tweeted that she met a special guest on Power Rangers last October 5 with a wink at the end of the tweet. It is still unknown if this refers to old Rangers making an appearance on Megaforce or something else.

Power Rangers Megaforce will premiere next year.

Sieht mal gar nicht so schlecht aus. Wenn Saban mehr dreht wie kopiert, ists gut. Und vor allem mal ein Megazord Kampf aus der Sicht einen Hochhauses, gabs glaub ich seit Turbo nicht mehr.

The first images of the Power Rangers Megaforce Hot Wheels Playset surfaced online. Aside from seeing cars that are loosely based from the Gosei Headers, what made it interesting is the first look on Gosei, the mentor of the Megaforce Rangers.

The playset featured Gosei on the side of the set. In addition, you can see that part of the playset is a small version of the Megaforce Morpher as one of the obstacles that the cars should pass through.

In Power Rangers Megaforce, Gosei is aided by a robot named Tensou, which was first originally believed to be the Power Rangers counterparts of Master Head and Datas but it was later revealed that they are original characters made for the series.

Power Rangers Megaforce premieres in early 2013 on Nickelodeon.

Nach den ersten Kartenscans (http://orendsrange.blogspot.de/2012/11/ ... Ky9o4ZVn-B) scheint Saban auch die Rangersbezeichnungen dem japanischen angepasst zu haben.

So heißt der rote Megforceranger nicht "Red Megaforce Ranger", sondern "Megaforce Red"

Da ist Megaforce Red doch wesentlich kürzer. Lustig wäre es ja gewesen wenn sie ihn MegaRed genannt hätte

Power Rangers Megaforce Sixth Ranger Casting Side Revealed

New casting sides has surfaced for Power Rangers Megaforce and this time around, it is for the Sixth Ranger tentatively known as Zador!

It is said that the Sixth Ranger might be GokaiSilver's Power Rangers counterpart or RoboKnight's possible human form later in the series. But whatever the case, the casting side reveals that he is hitting on the Pink Ranger and that he has a hard time identifying in one scene if she is the monster that changes form or not.

MegaForce Season 2 to Continue to Use Goseiger Suits

Courtesy of our buddies at the RangerCrew Power Rangers MegaForce Season 2, now OFFICIALLY called Power Rangers Super MegaForce (I’m totally fine with that name..), will not be changing up suits like the OG Rangers did in the past… they’re sticking with the Goseiger costumes.

I gotta say this is a little surprising. New suits mean renewed interest in the show and it makes all the action footage easier. Judging from how Power Rangers Samurai went and the designs they got from Bandai for swankery Samurai costumes, I’d bet ya my Gold Ranger Morpher that Power Rangers MegaForce just might end up with totally original new suits for Season 2. This is just speculation, but a new year means new money to earn once they’ve milked the first Goseiger costumes for all their worth.

Still.. the Gokaiger costumes, weapons and footage is money also on the table that I can’t see them passing up. Power Rangers Samurai proved that Saban Brands isn’t worried about sword slasher series and the suits that come with them, so there’s no reason to believe they might be worried about the image the sword slinging pirates of Gokaiger might be too violent for their audience.

Word is Power Rangers MegaForce will have last names for the Rangers and they’ll be battling it out in a named city as well (they should call it NEO ANGEL GROVE!). Lastly word has it that the Goseiger card slinging gimmick will be a strongly promoted feature. Makes me wonder if they’ll be digging up that Ranger Strike Card Game that’s sitting out there… just waiting to be used somehow.

Lastly, at the Morphicon I asked them if they listened to the fan reaction of Power Rangers Samurai and if maaaybe some of our legitimate complaints might be addressed. I was told that “they intend to go darker” with the show… whiiiiich could mean anything. Might have been marketing speak for, “this is what fans want to hear,” or they might give the show back an RPM’esque edge that we went ga-ga for not too long ago at the end of the Disney Era. But, Power Rangers Samurai KILLED IT last year and made a lot of people a lot of money hand over fist. The really had NO REASON to change up the formula, tighten up the actor or stop the over the top silliness that Bulk and Spike brought to the show.

Only time will tell. Power Rangers MegaForce kicks off first quarter of 2013 and we’ll all be there to check out the 20th Anniversary of the series that brought a lot of us here together

Denn wir es bei uns wohl keine Gokaiger Variante geben. Schade mir gefallen die Suits.

Erstmal noch nicht, aber ist doch besser als 2 gesplittete Staffeln, so kriegt man von beiden Staffel alles zu sehen. Die Gokaiger Adaption kommt denn erst später.

Das sie die Gokaiger suits nicht für die Megaforce rangers verwenden war ja vorher eigentlich klar. sonst wäre das ganze material vom 199 Movie nutzlos. Die Gokaiger werden sicher gegen ende der serie nen kurzen auftritt haben bzw ein paar folgen lang gemeinsam mit den megaforce ranger agieren.
