Son Goku Gets Naruto Costume in "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z"

It is remembered that Naruto got a "Son Goku costume" DLC as a first press bonus for the release of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3. And now, it's Son Goku's turn to have Naruto's costume in the new Dragon Ball Z fighting game, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z.

To be included as a first press bonus of the game, players can receive the DLC code of Naruto's Sage Mode costume

Having over 60 missions, and spanning all over the Dragon Ball Z saga, the game can have up to four players that can play cooperatively, or eight players who can engage in a massive battle royale online. It will also feature attacks such as "Meteor Chain" (successive attacks), "Synchro Rush" (simultaneous attack), and "Revive Soul" (reviving a fallen teammate). Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z will be available in three platforms: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PSVita. Price and release date are yet to be announced.

Broly, Cooler Forms Confirmed to Join in "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z"

The latest issue of Shonen Jump magazine announces that Broly, Cooler, Cooler (final form), and Metal Cooler will be included in the roster for the new Dragon Ball Z fighting game, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z. More characters are expected to be announced in a later date.

The game features over 60 missions, and at least 70 playable characters spanning all over the Dragon Ball Z saga! You can have up to four players that can play cooperatively, or eight players who can engage in a massive battle royale online, and will also feature attacks such as "Meteor Chain" (successive attacks), "Synchro Rush" (simultaneous attack), and "Revive Soul" (reviving a fallen teammate).

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z to Include Over 60 Missions!

Starting at the Saiyan Arc, it has been revealed that the new Dragon Ball Z fighting game, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z will have over 60 missions, spanning all over the Dragon Ball Z saga!

Players unlock extra characters and earn cards, which they can use to customize fighters at the end of each mission. There are also skill cards that let you change what abilities characters have and strengthening cards that up stats like Ki Blast power.

Additionally, the player can customize the colors of their character's outfit.

Hoffentlich wird das Game auch gut. Seit DB BT3 kahmen nur sehr schwache Ableger für die aktuelle Konsolen Generation auf den Markt.
Mir würde so gar ein HD Remake von BT3 reichen.

The Identity of Goku's Mother Finally Revealed

Dragon Ball creator Toriyama Akira is about to reveal the identity of Goku's mother on the March 2014 issue of Saikyo Jump after 30 years of speculations.

Goes by the name Gine, a gentle natured saiyan who also happened to be a part of Bardock's squad is Goku's mother. After being saved by him several times in the battlefield, they developed feelings for each other. This event is rare for saiyans since it is not normal in their race to be in a relationships except when breeding.

Gine will take her first appearance in a bonus manga released on April 4th together with Toriyama's one-shot manga "Jaco the Galactic Patrolman.

Als Dragonbll film ar er ganz klar ein griff ins Klo.

Die Drasteller haben, meiner meinung nach, eine super job gemacht. Und wenn man mal auseracht lässt das es eine Verfilmung eines der erfolgreichseten mangs weltweit sein soll, ist es ein recht gute Eastern^^.

Okay ich gebe zu Wer die Vorlage nicht kennt, erlebt hier ein seichtes Fantasyabenteuer. Kurzweiliger, aber auch absolut kruder und spannungsfreier Big-Budget-Trash eben.
Als Fan muss ich sagen:
Für diesen Film gehört jedem Beteiligten nach allen Regeln der Kunst die Fresse ...(hier wisst was ich meine)
Noch immer wird mir übel, wenn ich auch nur an diesen Film denken muss. Noch immer werde ich traurig, wenn ich an diesen Film denken muss. Noch immer werde ich wütend, wenn ich an diesen Film denken muss. Und niemand, der der „Dragonball“auch nur ein bisschen mochte, sollte sich den Film anschauen, geschweige denn,finanziel unterstützen.
Das einzige was der Film gemacht hat ist mir 90 Min meines Lebens zu rauben die ich leider nie wieder bekommen werde.
Darum liebe ich dieses Video von Cinema Sins Counts. Kann es mir immer wieder ansehen.
Gehört neben der Realverfilmung von Avatar-The Legend of Aang zu denn schlechtestens Filmen die ich je gesehen habe. Selbst Asylum Filme sind unterhaltsamer.

Ich hab den Film zum Glück selber nicht gesehen. Hab die Produktion und die Trailer verfolgt und beschlossen, dass ich für so nen Mist kein Geld ausgeben muss, gerade nicht als großer Dragonball-Fan. Und das, was in dem Video so an Szenen zu sehen ist, bestätigt meine Meinung nur.

Klar, wenn man irgendwas gucken möchte und nicht Dragonball mag der Film ganz nett sein, aber ich konnte z.B. den Transformers-Filmen von Michael Bay auch nur was abgewinnen, weil ich mich nie vorher mit Transformers befasst habe, von daher...

Jupp, genau. Wahr ein Chinesischerfilm. Hat mich echt überrascht.
Hab Heute mal bisschen reingeschaut und muss sagen das er mir gefallen hat. Ist zwar nicht zu 100 Prozent gut aber auf jeden Fall viel! viel!!...viel!!! Besser als DBE gewesen ist.

2015 Dragon Ball Z Film Announced

A new Dragon Ball Z film was announced in the September issue of V Jump magazine. The new movie will open in Japan's Golden Week holidays next spring.

Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama is credited with the film's original concept, screenplay and character designs. Just like last year's Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, the new film will tell a new story. Toriyama revealed that he wanted this story to be part of the original manga serialization.

The story is still kept in secret but Toriyama promises that the film will have more action scenes and it will be "utterly funny." Toriyama put a lot of effort in this film that even his first manga editor praised him for it, something that his editor rarely does.

Currently, Toriyama is drawing up new character designs and is confident that his fans will enjoy the movie and asked them to look forward to it.

Klingt sehr vielversprechend wenn Toriyama sich da so ins Zeug legt (that even his first manga editor praised him for it) ... Bin sehr gespannt.

Ich liebe Dragonball einfach !
Besonders Toriyamas Style, den selbst Eiichiro Oda mehr als oft Lobend erwähnt !
2015 scheint insgesamt ein gutes release Jahr zu werden was ich bisher so lesen durfte...

2015 Dragon Ball Z Film Director, Film Tagline Revealed
A new flyer for the upcoming 2015 Dragon Ball Z movie revealed the director of the project. Said flyer was distributed at the Jump Victory Carnival event.

First is that Dragon Ball Z director Tadayoshi Yamamuro will work in this project. In addition, the film's official website was launched and it features an image of the dragon Shenron and the tagline, "The worst wish in history. That is the beginning of despair."

Dragon Ball Xenoverse: New Character From the Future is a Super Saiyan

Bandai Namco Games revealed via the official Dragon Ball Z Games Facebook page that the new character from the future for Dragon Ball Xenoverse is a Super Saiyan!

The Facebook post questions the fans if he is another survivor from Planet Vegeta after its destruction. In addition, the new character knows Yamcha, Trunks and many other characters. The post also teases that more information about this new character will be revealed in their next report.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse will be available on the PS4, XBox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 next year.

New Dragon Ball Xenoverse Characters Revealed

The 43rd issue in this year's Weekly Shonen Jump unveiled the new characters who will appear in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse game.

The new characters, clockwise from top left are:

Towa - a researcher from the dark world who seeks the destruction of history and an energy called "Kiri".
Mira - a powerful artificial life form and aims to be the strongest. He works with Towa to destroy history.
Toki Toki - a mysterious life form that can create time.
The Kai of Time - a being who is over 75 million years old, she raised Toki Toki. She gathers the Dragon Balls to make a wish.


In the game, the the Dragon Ball Z history is changing thanks to Towa and Mira. Because of this, Trunks teams up with the Kai of Time and summons you via the Eternal Dragon Shenron to fix this mess.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse will be available on the PS4, XBox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 next year.

Bin echt gespannt auf Dragonball Xenoverse. Hoffe es wird echt ein spaßiges DB Prügelgame wieder. Ich glaube sogar der Charakter aus der Zukunft ist aus einem Charaktereditor also das man ihn leicht selbst erstellen kann.

Schade das es erst nächstes Jahr rauskommt. ^^

2015 Dragon Ball Z Film's Premiere Date Listed
The release date of the upcoming 2015 Dragon Ball Z movie was listed on Cinema City theater's website.

The site lists that the film will premiere on April 25, 2015 and listed to run for at least 120 minutes. Take note, 120 minutes is likely a placeholder for the film's running time.

Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F Film to Feature Frieza's Return

The January 2015 issue of V Jump magazine revealed the first key visual and more information about the 2015 Dragon Ball Z film. As you can see, Frieza is back.

The film entitled "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F" (fukkatsu means resurrection), in which according to series creator Akira Toriyama revealed that the "F" in the title stands for "Frieza" who will, in fact, get resurrected in the film. Also seen beside Frieza is the "antagonist" of last year's Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods film, Beerus.

In addition, here's a more detailed plot of the movie:

The remnants of Frieza's army, Sorbet and Togoma arrived on Earth and their goal is to revive Frieza with Earth's Dragon Balls. Their wish is granted, the "F" that plans its revenge against the Saiyans is revived!

Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F premieres on April 18, 2015 both in 2D and 3D.

Dragon Ball Super Manga Adaptation Announced

The latest issue of V-Jump magazine announced that the new Dragon Ball Super anime will get a manga adaptation.

Series creator Akira Toriyama will work with Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission manga author Toyotaro for the said series. Sadly, details such as the manga's release date and plot is yet to be announced.

Dragon Ball Super will be serialized on V-Jump magazine. As for the upcoming anime, it will premiere in Japan this July.

Toei Europe: Dragon Ball Super Anime Will Have 100 Episodes

New info for the Dragon Ball Super anime was revealed and it has something to do the new character and of course, the possible episode count.

First is with the episode count, according to Toei Animation Europe's website, the series will have 100 episodes. The Japanese website however has not confirmed the number of episodes this series has. As for the new character, his name is Shanpa (seen at the far right in the image above) and he resembles Beerus, the God of Destruction.

The upcoming Dragon Ball Super anime takes place years after the events of the Buu Saga. Series creator Akira Toriyama will write the plot for the series and will may feature the appearance of an enemy stronger than Buu or Frieza.

Dragon Ball Super is set to premiere on July 5th.

Bei mir war es Demon King Daimao. Ich hatte heute auch den direkten Vergleich, weil ich sowohl die 6. Folge auf Deutsch und die 6 2-3 minütigen OVA/Spezial Episoden auf Japanisch mit Untertitel gesehen habe.

Ich würd mir ja wünschen das man versucht en bisschen mehr in richtung der original Dragonball Serie zu gehen. Weniger das große Rumgekloppe und mehr ein Fantasy Adventure mit coolen charakteren in dem es halt auch action gibt.
